About Us
Cathy & Jeff Davis are the owners and operators of Rover Resort.
As manager, Cathy has worked for over twenty years in the fast paced, customer service
and sales oriented profession at a number of growing companies in the Dallas area.
She has earned the respect of her colleagues through hard work and dedication. Since
1998, Cathy & Jeff have been living in McKinney and have been caring for many pets
of their own and maintaining a small horse breeding farm. They have (dogs, cats,
horses and a donkey) each with their individual needs, requiring constant care,
supervision and maintaining a safe healthy environment. Jeff has successfully raised
several horses while maintaining their property and the 12 acres at Rover Resort.
Prior to opening Rover Resort in November of 2006, Cathy has worked for almost
three years at a local Pet Resort where she has learned all about the pet care and
boarding industry. Cathy & Jeff together have earned the respect and level of trust
that is necessary in providing excellent pet care. They have been a member of Pet
Care Services Association since 2005, as well as attending their National Educational
forums in October of 2005, and continue to participate in ongoing Kennel Operator
and Technician Certifications.
